At Yatra.com, we understand and reciprocate your concern for the security of your credit card. Over the years we have implemented a number of steps to make your online and call center based transactions as secure and convenient as possible.

Now, following the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulation, effective January 1, 2011, all transactions that a customers makes through a mobile or call center IVR will require an additional password. That is, if you are booking a ticket through our call center and chose the IVR-based payment option, you will be required to enter an additional One Time Password (OTP) to be issued by your bank.

What is OTP?
An OTP or One Time Password is a numeric key to make your IVR or mobile payments more secure. Just as you have a password for netbanking and online payments, an OTP is a secure password for payments you make through our secure IVR.

Who will issue the OTP?
The OTP will be issued by the bank that issues your credit card. You will need an OTP for each credit card you hold.

For how long with the OTP be valid?
For additional security, RBI requires that customers generate a new OTP for each IVR transaction. Depending on the bank, each OTP will be laid for between 30 minutes to 12 hours.

Will this affect my online password and transactions?
No. This OTP is only for IVR or mobile based payments - the payments made through a call center. Online transactions function as they are, following the Third Party security.

Which payments will be covered by the OTP?

How to redeem free ticket?

Make a confirmed International return air ticket booking on Yatra.com between 16th August and 10 September 2010.

One of our customer care executive will call within 48 hours to confirm the free air ticket booking and collect the tax amount.

Is there any restriction on these free tickets?

For the free domestic air tickets, only base fare will be free for customer. The taxes will have to be paid by the customer to avail these tickets.

The free ticket can be redeemed by calling Yatra Customer Service.
Customers need to give Yatra reference number to avail the free tickets. Free tickets are only valid for travel between 1st July 10 - 30th Sep 10.
Once the tickets are issued it can not be cancelled.
These tickets are transferable i.e. they can be given to anyone you know
Out of all domestic tickets availed under the offer; at least 1 domestic ticket must be utilized by the lead passenger.
Free tickets are subject to availability of seats. In case seats are not confirmed, next best alternate itinerary will be offered.
Free tickets once booked cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
In the event of cancellation of main International ticket, the utilized domestic tickets will be adjusted at Rs. 500/- each; along with the applicable Yatra cancellation fee and Airlines cancellation charges.

Our Partial Payment facility enables you to book a confirmed International ticket by paying just a percentage of the total amount at the time of booking the air ticket. You can pay the balance amount at a later date that is more convenient for you.

If you choose to make a Partial Payment for your international air ticket, we will confirm your ticket. However the ticket will only be sent to you after we receive the full payment for the booking.
The Partial Amount paid should be at least 25% of the Total Fare or Rs 5,000, whichever is higher.
The Due Date for paying the Balance Amount will be displayed to the Customer on the website at the time of making the booking and paying the advance. Customer is encouraged to clarify the Due Date before making any advance payment in the event of any confusion regarding the same.
If the Balance Amount is Rs 25,000 and above and is paid by cash, you will be required to provide a copy of your PAN card to us. If PAN copy is not provided, the ticket will be cancelled. Also, the PAN Card must be of the person making the payment and in case of refund, the cheque would be made our in the name of the PAN cardholder.
You can call our Customer Service Helpline to make the balance payment by Credit Card. Or send a cheque/DD for the balance amount to our Gurgaon office.

4.	A customer is entitled to avail the discount only if he makes the full payment in advance for hotel booking as well as Domestic Air Ticket through any of the options available on yatra.com.
5.	The discount is applicable on per-transaction basis. The customer can use the promo code only once to avail a flight booking, and should use the same email address for booking the flight ticket as is used for the hotel booking.
6.	Promotion code will be activated only after 24 hours of the Domestic hotel booking as per the offer. Promotion code can not be exchanged for any other product/ cash or transferred to any other person.
