Airline Update: Deccan is now Kingfisher Red of Kingfisher Airlines

Kingfisher Airlines will now offer three classes of service to the public:

a. Kingfisher First
b. Kingfisher Class
c. Kingfisher Red
  • Kingfisher Red class of service will be a no-frills service that was earlier offered as Deccan. Kingfisher Red would be the single class service available on certain flights operating on certain sectors.
  • Please note that in Kingfisher Red class of service, no free meals, snacks or refreshments shall be served on board.
  • The Free Baggage Allowance will be restricted to 15 kgs.
  • Most importantly, the customers may be informed that, at the Mumbai and Delhi Terminals “Kingfisher Red” service flights (IT (3000 and 4000 series) will operate from Terminal 1B and not Terminal 1A.
  • Aircrafts offering the “Kingfisher Red” service may for some time continue to show “Deccan” on the outside of the aircraft until changes are effected on these aircrafts.
  • Guests who already hold bookings on Deccan flights prior to the Effective Date (which will have a “DN” prefix) please note that flights have now been changed to “IT” four digit flights (3000 and 4000series as the case may be) offering Kingfisher Red class of service (nofrillsservice).
