3 Easy Steps to avail Cash on Delivery

Step 1: Call our 24x7 Customer Service Helpline to initiate a booking.
  • Call the dedicated helpline number to speak with our Travel Expert and make a booking.
  • Our agent will help you select the right product and provide details of Cash on Delivery option. The agent will also provide you a Yatra Reference Number.
Step 2: Yatra Representative visits to collect cash.
  • Within 48 hours of making the booking, a Yatra Representative will visit you to collect the cash payment.
  • You will be required to show proof of identity and the Yatra Reference Number provided earlier.
Step 3: Yatra.com updates details and sends e-tickets/vouchers.
  • Once the cash is deposited with Yatra.com, our team will update the payment details for your booking. 
  • Your e-ticket/vouchers will be dispatched within 24 hours.

  • Cash on Delivery option is available only for International Flights, Domestic Hotels and Packages, and International Packages.
  • Additionally, Cash on Delivery can be scheduled only if the travel date is more than 7 days away.
  • Currently, the Cash on Delivery service is available only in Delhi and NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Calcutta, Pune, and Chennai
Some Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long before the travel date can I make a booking?

Cash on Delivery bookings can be made for bookings when the date of departure is at least 7 days away.

2. What happens if I have to cancel a booking?
For booking made using the Cash on Delivery option, you can cancel the same by contacting our customer care helpline. The refund will be processed via an online bank transfer or cheque, issued on the name of the customer.

3. What can I do if I was not available when the Yatra Representative visited to collect the payment?
The Yatra Representative will make two attempts over two days to collect the cash payment, excluding Sundays and other public holidays. If you are not available at either time, the booking will be treated as cancelled.

4. After making the payment, how long before I get the ticket?
E-tickets and vouchers will be sent to you within 24 hours of Yatra receiving the payment.

5. Are there any other requirements for Cash on Delivery?
Customers will be required to submit a copy of their PAN card to Yatra.com before the cash pick-up can be scheduled.

Cash on Delivery Terms & Conditions
1. Yatra.com - Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option is available in following cities in India:

    * Delhi / NCR
    * Mumbai
    * Bangalore
    * Calcutta
    * Pune
    * Chennai

2. The COD payment option is available for international flights, domestic and international hotels and holiday packages booked with Yatra.com.
3. A Yatra.com Representative will make a maximum of two attempts within 2 days (excluding Sunday ) of booking for delivering the ticket and collecting the cash. The ticket will be treated as cancelled if the full booking amount is not collected from the customer after two attempts. There will be no collection on Sundays and holidays.
4. The customer needs to collect an invoice from Yatra.com representative while making the cash payment. Yatra.com representative may ask the customer to produce the booking proof/voucher at any time, on failure of which Yatra.com shall be entitled to cancel the booking.

Booking Rules
  •  Cash on Delivery can only be done for bookings wherein departure date is at least after 7 days.
  • There may be a difference of fares at the time when they are initially quoted to the customer and when they are actually sent for booking. The fare difference will be conveyed to the customer by Yatra Customer Care Executive.
  • Customer has to ensure to be present at the place of collection, at the specified time, with the cash.
  • Bookings can be held only if customer makes the payment within 48 hours of booking. If customer fails to make the payment, the ticket booking will be cancelled, and the customer has to make a fresh booking.
  • All bookings are subject to cash realization.
  • Customer needs to submit his PAN card copy with Yatra.com before cash pickup.
Cancellation Charges
  • The customer can cancel any booking made through COD option, by simply contacting our call center. The refund amount shall be processed either by an online transfer to the customer’s bank account or by a cheque issue in the name of the customer only. No requests for cash refunds will be entertained.
  • All other Yatra.com and Airlines cancellation terms and conditions as applicable on booking through Yatra.com website shall apply.
  • E-Tickets / Package Vouchers will be sent to the customer on email within 24 hrs, once the cash has been collected from the customer.
