Are there any restrictions on the free ticket?

Our agent will help you select the right product and provide details of Cash on Delivery option. The agent will also provide you a Yatra Reference Number.

Step 2: Yatra Representative visits to collect cash.

Within 48 hours of making the booking, a Yatra Representative will visit you to collect the cash payment.
You will be required to show proof of identity and the Yatra Reference Number provided earlier.

Step 3: Yatra.com updates details and sends e-tickets/vouchers.

Once the cash is deposited with Yatra.com, our team will update the payment details for your booking.
Your e-ticket/vouchers will be dispatched within 24 hours.

More about Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery option is available only for International Flights, Domestic Hotels and Packages, and International Packages.
Additionally, Cash on Delivery can be scheduled only if the travel date is more than 7 days away.

1. How long before the travel date can I make a booking?
Cash on Delivery bookings can be made for bookings when the date of departure is at least 7 days away.

2. What happens if I have to cancel a booking?
For booking made using the Cash on Delivery option, you can cancel the same by contacting our customer care helpline. The refund will be processed via an online bank transfer or cheque, issued on the name of the customer.

3. What can I do if I was not available when the Yatra Representative visited to collect the payment?
The Yatra Representative will make two attempts over two days to collect the cash payment, excluding Sundays and other public holidays. If you are not available at either time, the booking will be treated as cancelled.

4. After making the payment, how long before I get the ticket?
E-tickets and vouchers will be sent to you within 24 hours of Yatra receiving the payment.

5. Are there any other requirements for Cash on Delivery?
Customers will be required to submit a copy of their PAN card to Yatra.com before the cash pick-up can be scheduled.

Cash on Delivery Terms & Conditions
1. Yatra.com - Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option is available in following cities in India:

    * Delhi / NCR
    * Mumbai
    * Bangalore
    * Calcutta
    * Pune
    * Chennai

2. The COD payment option is available for international flights, domestic and international hotels and holiday packages booked with Yatra.com.
3. A Yatra.com Representative will make a maximum of two attempts within 2 days (excluding Sunday ) of booking for delivering the ticket and collecting the cash. The ticket will be treated as cancelled if the full booking amount is not collected from the customer after two attempts. There will be no collection on Sundays and holidays.
4. The customer needs to collect an invoice from Yatra.com representative while making the cash payment. Yatra.com representative may ask the customer to produce the booking proof/voucher at any time, on failure of which Yatra.com shall be entitled to cancel the booking.

Booking Rules

Cash on Delivery can only be done for bookings wherein departure date is at least after 7 days.
There may be a difference of fares at the time when they are initially quoted to the customer and when they are actually sent for booking. The fare difference will be conveyed to the customer by Yatra Customer Care Executive.
Customer has to ensure to be present at the place of collection, at the specified time, with the cash.
Bookings can be held only if customer makes the payment within 48 hours of booking. If customer fails to make the payment, the ticket booking will be cancelled, and the customer has to make a fresh booking.
All bookings are subject to cash realization.
Customer needs to submit his PAN card copy with Yatra.com before cash pickup.

Cancellation Charges

The customer can cancel any booking made through COD option, by simply contacting our call center. The refund amount shall be processed either by an online transfer to the customer’s bank account or by a cheque issue in the name of the customer only. No requests for cash refunds will be entertained.
All other Yatra.com and Airlines cancellation terms and conditions as applicable on booking through Yatra.com website shall apply.
E-Tickets / Package Vouchers will be sent to the customer on email within 24 hrs, once the cash has been collected from the customer.

Who is eligible for free ticket?

On every International return Air ticket booking/PNR, 10 free domestic air tickets would be given. For e.g. if one customer books a return ticket to Delhi-London-Delhi, he/she will be eligible for 10 free domestic tickets.
On every one way international air ticket booked, 4 free domestic air tickets would be given.

How to redeem free ticket?

Make a confirmed International return air ticket booking on Yatra.com between 16th August and 10 September 2010.
To redeem free ticket, customer needs to fill request form (www.yatra.com/cheap-flights/free-air-ticket.html) and submit.
One of our customer care executive will call within 48 hours to confirm the free air ticket booking and collect the tax amount.

Is there any restriction on these free tickets?

For the free domestic air tickets, only base fare will be free for customer. The taxes will have to be paid by the customer to avail these tickets.
Free tickets have to be booked for travel on/before 30th September 2010 only.
The request for free tickets should be submitted at least 17 days prior to travel date. For e.g. if Mr. Rahul wishes to travel on 20th September 2010 , he should ensure that he should submit the request for free tickets latest by 03rd September 2010.

Book your International flight by paying only 25% & pay the rest before you fly

Our Partial Payment facility enables you to book a confirmed International ticket by paying just a percentage of the total amount at the time of booking the air ticket. You can pay the balance amount at a later date that is more convenient for you.

If you choose to make a Partial Payment for your international air ticket, we will confirm your ticket. However the ticket will only be sent to you after we receive the full payment for the booking.
The Partial Amount paid should be at least 25% of the Total Fare or Rs 5,000, whichever is higher.

A refund of the partial paid amount lessening the cancellation charges of Yatra and Airlines is granted on cancellation of tickets before due date of balance payment. In such cases also, Yatra reserves the right to demand the differential amount from the passenger if the actual cancellation charges are more than the partial paid amount.
In case of cancellation of booking or failure to make the payments of non-refundable tickets by the due date, passenger is liable to make the full payments of ticket.

Our Partial Payment facility enables you to book a confirmed International air ticket by paying just a percentage of the total amount at the time of booking the air ticket. You can pay the balance amount at a later date that is more convenient for you.

If you choose to make a Partial Payment for your ticket, we will confirm your air ticket. However the air ticket will only be sent to you after we receive the full payment for the booking.

If you find an International airfare that is available to the Indian general public from another travel agent or an online travel agent (and not from an airline directly), you can avail the “FAIR DEAL PROMOTION” upon converting your booking into a purchase of the same ticket from Yatra.com.

As per the above chart, a sum of 20 will entitle this transaction to a discount of Rs. 5000. However, please note that there is a maximum cap of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) for Cash Back on a single Credit Card during the promotion period.

This Cash Back offer is open to all residents of India holding a valid Credit Card. This promotion is valid only to the customers who purchase return air tickets to any international location from www.yatra.com. This promotion is valid for online bookings only done on www.yatra.com
The offer is open with immediate effect. To be eligible for Cash Back, Credit Card holder should have carried out the transaction at the website www.yatra.com using a valid Credit Card within the offer period. Offer valid only at the time of booking.
The Cash Back offer is for all bookings fully paid for between and inclusive of the given dates. However, the travel date could be outside the offer period.
This offer will not be valid on cancelled tickets or for charge back transactions. All such cancelled tickets or charge back transactions will not be considered under the offer. Yatra Online reserves the right to reverse the credit transactions in case the ticket is found to be cancelled later.
For every International return Air ticket booked on www.yatra.com, a customer can get a maximum Cash Back on the basis of the destination traveled to as per the details below –

The Cash Back shall be credited to the same Credit Card used for the purpose of making the payment at the time of purchase. All purchases made under the Promotion shall be subject to applicable cancellation/date change rules. In case of a cancellation, Yatra.com shall adjust the Cash Back amount and all applicable cancellation charges.
The Cash Back offer is not valid for Travel Agents. Yatra.com reserves the right to reverse the Cash Back if such a case is brought or comes to Yatra.com's notice.
The Cash Back offer is valid only for such bookings where holder of the Credit Card through which booking was done is one of the passengers who are flying.
Taxes, surcharges and other statutory levies on the air tickets will be will be charged as per actuals from the customer, without any Cash Back offered on them.
All air tickets will be subject to availability at the time of booking and will be governed by the Standard Airline Terms & Conditions.
The amount of Cash Back will reflect in the respective Credit card billing statement of next month (within 30 working days from the date of transaction) and not on the ticket.

The MasterCard Travel Benefits Program is not open to Citibank Titanium, Citibank Platinum and Citibank World MasterCard Credit Card holders between 10th June 2008 25th August 2008 for International Air tickets and domestic hotel bookings
This MasterCard Travel Benefits Program is open to cardholders of Titanium, Platinum and World MasterCard branded payment Cards issued in India & whose accounts are current and in good standing.
Cardholders are required to present / use their Titanium, Platinum or World MasterCard branded payment cards to avail / pay for all benefits & services under this program.
Benefits under the program will be provided by Yatra Online Pvt. Ltd. through their website www.MasterCard.yatra.com , www.yatra.com ,call centre, retail outlets and any other points of presence specified from time to time.
The MasterCard Travel Benefits Program is in operation from immediate effect from 28th Feb 2008 till 2nd April 2009.
The Discount will be in the form of cash back. Discount will be valid on bookings on all scheduled Domestic and International Airlines (Full service and Low cost carriers) and all Domestic and International Hotels & Holidays made through Yatra. However, bookings on Air Deccan shall not be valid for discount/cash back.

A Cardholder is eligible for 10% discount/cash back on the base fare of Air tickets and on basic room rate for Hotel Bookings subject to the under-mentioned maximum limits per calendar year ( January December ) :

Discount/cash back will be valid for air tickets/hotel bookings for which full payment has been made to Yatra.
The Discount/Cash Back is valid only for such bookings where holder of the Card through which payment was made is one of the travelers/guests OR the surname of at least one of the travelers is the same as that of the holder of the card through which payment was made.

All tickets / bookings will be subject to availability at the time of booking and will be governed by the Standard Airline & Hotel Terms & Conditions.
