Airline Update: Deccan is now Kingfisher Red of Kingfisher Airlines

Kingfisher Airlines will now offer three classes of service to the public:

a. Kingfisher First
b. Kingfisher Class
c. Kingfisher Red

• Kingfisher Red class of service will be a no-frills service that was earlier offered as Deccan. Kingfisher Red would be the single class service available on certain flights operating on certain sectors.
• Please note that in Kingfisher Red class of service, no free meals, snacks or refreshments shall be served on board.
• The Free Baggage Allowance will be restricted to 15 kgs.
• Most importantly, the customers may be informed that, at the Mumbai and Delhi Terminals “Kingfisher Red” service flights (IT (3000 and 4000 series) will operate from Terminal 1B and not Terminal 1A.
• Aircrafts offering the “Kingfisher Red” service may for some time continue to show “Deccan” on the outside of the aircraft until changes are effected on these aircrafts.
• Guests who already hold bookings on Deccan flights prior to the Effective Date (which will have a “DN” prefix) please note that flights have now been changed to “IT” four digit flights (3000 and 4000series as the case may be) offering Kingfisher Red class of service (nofrillsservice).

• For example, on a transaction for the sector India – Singapore - India where the price of the ticket is Rs. 12,000, the Yatra Authorization Code that gets generated is 618014, the sum of the discount code works out to
  6 + 1 + 8 + 0 + 1 + 4 = 20
  As per the above chart, a sum of 20 will entitle this transaction to a discount of Rs. 5000. However, please note that there is a maximum cap of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) for Cash Back on a single Credit Card during the promotion period.
• If the Cash Back on any transaction is more than the base fare, then Customer will be entitled to 100% Cash Back on the base fare
• To make the offer more powerful Yatra has made the following two changes in the Citibank cash back program which would be valid w.e.f. 4 july 2008.
• The Citibank cash back program has extended to one way International Air ticket bookings or on all Hotel bookings made through Citibank credit card.
• Citibank credit card holders can avail the cash back offer even, if a Citibank card holder is not one of the traveller / passenger in the travel list.

Terms & Conditions

1. The offer is named “Kids fly free”.
2. This offer is exclusively available only for kids who are below 12 years of age and are traveling with adults.
3. Maximum 2 kids per travelling adult can travel free, booked on the same PNR ticket.
4. The taxes for free air tickets will have to be borne by customer.
5. Children more than 12 years of age should be booked as adults and pay full requisite fare for travel.
6. Kindly carry valid proof of age for the kids travelling under this offer.
7. Failure to present a valid proof of age at the time of check-in can render the travelling passenger to be treated as an adult. Consequently the passenger shall be liable to pay the difference of paid fare and the applicable fare prevalent at that time before undertaking the journey.
